Your gift helps break the cycles of poverty through quality education. Donations can take many forms.

Tax Credit Giving. Under Arizona law, you may assign a portion of your tax credit obligation to support education. This is a dollar-for-dollar reduction in your state tax liability, simply redirecting your tax dollars to a local cause you care about (in this case, Imago Dei Middle School!). Because it is a credit, it essentially costs you nothing to do, but tax credit provide as much as 70% of the school’s annual operating funds. Unlike other private schools, 100% of our students are also eligible to receive the scholarships created by tax credits.

For the 2024 tax year (with filing in spring 2025) the Arizona State Private School Tuition Tax Credit maximums credits are $1,459* for filers who are Single/Married filing separately or Head of Household; for filers who are Married or filing jointly the maximum is $2,910*. (* = Or actual tax, whichever is less.)

Donor Advised Funds (DAFs) Have dollars in your DAF? Imago Dei is eligible to receive those funds. You can now donate from your Donor Advised Fund directly from our online donation page! Simply visit the red Donate Now button above and choose DAFpay as your form of payment. More than 20 different national DAF organizations are represented in the system.

Imago Dei also works with certain DAF sponsor organizations, including Fidelity, Schwab and BNY Mellon. Those groups have provided a donation portal you can use to make a designated gift to Imago Dei (Click here to go to that portal).

Imago Dei relies on charitable support from a wide network of individuals, businesses, foundations, and congregations, plus Arizona State Tax Credit gifts from both individuals and businesses. Gifts we receive go to educate low-income Tucson children.
