On Sunday, March 8, Imago Dei Social Sciences teacher Iesha Walker, Chaplain Tim True, and Principal Kitt Bret Harte took 19 8th-graders to visit the border town of Douglas. There, they attended eucharist at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, whose parishioners afterwards treated them to a lovely, home-cooked meal and an afternoon of conversation about life on the border. It was a rainy day, but a tremendous experience for these kids, who behaved beautifully and had a good time out together, jaunting around Arizona. Many thanks to the welcoming people of St. Stephen’s!
