Our seventh graders went out for a walking tour of some the gorgeous new downtown murals on August 11, and Principal Kitt Bret Harte entrusted two of the boys, Elliot and Aiden, with her fancy camera. They came back with some stunning shots, including an abstract of a downtown building that’s really something. Great eye, guys!

Bubble Art at TMA
Our sixth graders walked over to the Tucson Museum of Art today, where they had a great time making images using the unique medium of colored bubbles. They had a ball. We couldn’t appreciate our partnership with TMA more!
Dissection!
On March 4, medical students from the UA School of Medicine visited Imago Dei under the aegis of the Department of Family and Community Medicine’s Med Teach program, which goes out to under-resourced middle schools with everything needed to dissect sheep eyes and hearts while teaching kids about anatomy, physiology, and, not incidentally, the incredible coolness of science.
