Our teachers know how to engage kids. On a recent morning at school, Ms. Emery’s 8th-grade Language Arts class recreated the plot of a novel they’d read as board games, while Ms. Taylor’s 6th- grade History class acted out encounters between paleolithic and neolithic humans – and the animals that were important to them.
