The Imago Dei Family Pantry – generously stocked twice per week by Trader Joe’s at Campbell and Limberlost, and regularly stocked with non-perishables by Midwest Food Bank of Arizona – is open two afternoons a week in curbside format when school is in session. The pantry is open to all school families, including families of alumni, and is a vital part of the school’s service to the community. Tucson CSA also helps us stock the pantry with additional locally grown produce, a program that also helps support Southern Arizona farmers. We are grateful to the Community Foodbank of Southern Arizona for a generous grant that helps fund this effort.
The pantry was equipped by the generous donation of a commercial refrigerator and freezer by Casas Adobes Rotary Club of Tucson. A generous grant from Fry’s parent company’s foundation, Kroger Foundation, helps keep the pantry stocked with toiletries, paper goods, and other necessities.
The pantry is enthusiastically run by the awesome staff of IDMS Family Services program. Thank you!
