The benefits of music education for kids are well known and music has always been at the core of Imago Dei’s approach to helping the scholars we are so fortunate to have at our school. It’s only logical that as we slowly expand, we also grow our options. We’ll need some of you to “band” together to make it happen.
For this next school year, Imago Dei would like to add violin instruction to our already robust music education program. We already have the teachers and they already have the expertise. We already have 12 students interested and ready to learn. We just don’t have the violins.
Pending funding, Imago Dei has secured agreements with local music stores to provide the violins on a rent-to-own basis. To support this new project, we are asking 12 donors to step up and donate $19 a month for a year to cover these additional costs. July 9th update: Four sponsorships have been donated, only eight to go!
